Welcome to Data 16.

The focus for this issue of DATA is a recently completed major and high quality refurbishment of a private residence in Buckinghamshire.

We were delighted to have been appointed by London-based designers Bentheim to undertake this extensive interior project, enhancing our portfolio of impressive residential projects carried out in locations such as The Boltons, Hanover Terrace, The Panoramics and Hyde Park Gate Mews.

In other news, we have just completed the fit out of the cafe, retail shop, cloakroom and offices at the new Zaha Hadid-designed Riverside Museum in Glasgow, which will very shortly be featured in a future issue of DATA.

In London’s Bond Street we are putting the finishing touches to the flagship boutique store for luxury fashion retailer Missoni, which is set over 4 impressive floors. With an official launch in the next couple of weeks this impressive project, will soon to be featured in our e-newsletters.

DESIGNED FOR LIVING

We were appointed by London-based designers, Bentheim, to completely refurbish and redecorate the interior of an impressive private residence in Buckinghamshire, in collaboration with the owners.

The project included all enabling works, re-plastering all areas for high quality re-decoration; new solid oak parquet flooring throughout the ground and first floors; new plumbing, electrics and lighting.



The impressive library was fitted out with new purpose-designed shelving and bespoke storage/window seats, whilst new skirting boards, doors and various items of bespoke joinery were installed to the study, lounge, dining room, kitchen, main entrance hall and various ancillary areas, with some of the doors being manufactured to match the original period detailing.
We also completely re-fitted all of the bedrooms, including various items of bespoke joinery, walk-in dressing rooms; and both house and en suite bathrooms with limestone floors, high quality contemporary fittings and walk-in showers set behind large reinforced glass screens.

Commenting on the refurbishment the client said: “My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of Datum’s craftsmanship and the professional manner in which they delivered every element on this extensive project. We felt that Datum understood what we were trying to achieve and we received attentive service; their attention to detail was second to none and this gave us confidence that we would be delighted with the results.”
