Welcome to the first issue of DATA our new e-newsletter, which I hope you will find both interesting and informative.

I have now been in post for 12 months and very much enjoying the challenges of this role. It is pleasure to be working for a dynamic and market-leading company, and to be working with such a great team at our headquarters in Hertfordshire.

The company’s success is based on consistently delivering innovative, stylish and successful solutions for an increasing and diverse client base; this is something that I will ensure continues in the months and years ahead.

Our in-house joinery and metalwork facilities, coupled with a professional and robust approach to project delivery allows us to offer clients turnkey solutions whilst ensuring maximum control over each and every discipline.

In this first newsletter there’s news of the latest flagship store that we have delivered for Hackett and, working with Imagination, we have just completed the visitor centre for the Glen Grant distillery in Scotland, which is owned by Campari.

Glen Grant Distillery, Rothes, Scotland

Working in collaboration with Imagination, Datum recently completed the fit-out of an extension at the distillery buildings to form an extension to the visitor centre and retail/tasting area.

Commenting on the project, Ditte Astrup at Imagination said: “Working with Datum Contracts has been a pleasure. They have handled the project in a personal and professional manner and have been flexible to obtain exactly the right solution in close co-operation with us. They have responded promptly to problems and were constructive in solving them.”

Hackett, Dublin, Eire

Datum was delighted to undertake the fit-out of Hackett’s new flagship store in South Anne Street, Dublin.

Commenting on the project Karen Mentiply said: “The overall quality and finish that Datum has delivered to our new flagship store in Dublin is one of our best stores to date. I would like to thank everyone involved at Dublin and to say that we were delighted with Datum’s professionalism, dedication and positive approach throughout. A job truly well done.”

Hackett is a long-standing client of Datum with more stores on the drawing board.
